As a Social Media Ambassador for Hotel Viata in Austin, Texas, I had the unique opportunity to go behind the scenes of a summer campaign photoshoot that captured a family’s luxurious experience at the hotel. My role involved creating behind-the-scenes content for the hotel's social media platforms, showcasing the creative process in an authentic and engaging way. I shadowed the photographer, videographer, and Director of Marketing, gaining firsthand insight into how they utilized lighting, angles, and direction to achieve natural, high-quality visuals. I observed the chef artfully plating dishes and watched as everyday objects—like lemons—were thoughtfully incorporated as props to reflect the hotel’s Italian-inspired aesthetic. I was even entrusted with assisting the videographer by managing a lighting wand!
