Hi, I’m Isabella!
From being born and raised in Austin, Texas, to studying overseas at a business school in Montpellier, France, there are many incredible experiences that I’d love to share with you, but I will try to summarize…
Firstly, I am the oldest child and a Colombian-Mexican-American, with my father being Colombian and my mother, Mexican-American. I believe that my mix of these cultures has truly shaped my perspective of the world, and my parents played a huge role in ensuring I was raised in environments surrounded by diverse backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs.
As a child, I learned two foreign languages while also learning my ABCs! Between the ages of 3 and 11, I became fluent in French and reached an intermediate level in Spanish. My interest in foreign cultures and travel was inspired by my international elementary school, and I have carried that passion with me to this day.
When it came time for university in 2020, I decided to study Global Business with a focus on Marketing. I found this decision really challenging, as I’m sure many college students experience. There are so many choices! But, I had one focus that was clear: I must study abroad. So, of course, I chose a major that required a semester abroad.
In 2023, I decided to pack up and complete my undergraduate studies at a business school in a small coastal city in the South of France: Montpellier. This is what I call my “getting out of my comfort zone” era. I met people from across the world, learned business from real-world entrepreneurs and executives, and had the opportunity to see parts of the world I never could have imagined. This experience taught me more about myself than truly anything I have ever done.
Now, I am officially a college graduate living in Austin, Texas, with many dreams, goals, and passions that I hope to apply to my future career. I love learning about the world through travel, creating, photography, fashion, music, writing, trying new foods, and connecting with people.
I am so excited to see what my journey has in store for me!
