Coming from Austin, Texas, and studying overseas at a business school in Europe, there are many experiences that I’d love to share with you, but I will try to summarize…
Firstly, I am the oldest child of a Colombian father and Mexican-American mother. I believe that the mix of these cultures has truly shaped my perspective of the world, and my parents played a huge role in ensuring I was raised in environments surrounded by diverse backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs.
As a child, I learned two foreign languages while also learning my ABCs! Between the ages of 3 and 11, I became fluent in French and reached an intermediate level in Spanish. My interest in foreign cultures and travel was inspired by my international elementary school, and I carry that passion with me everyday.
When it came time for university in 2020, I decided to study Global Business with a focus on Marketing. And in 2023, after two and a half years in Tampa, I decided to complete my undergraduate studies at a business school in a small coastal city in the South of France called Montpellier. This is what I consider my “getting out of my comfort zone” era. I met people from across the world, learned business from real-world entrepreneurs and executives, and had the opportunity to see parts of the world that I never could have imagined. This experience taught me more about myself than truly anything I’ve ever done.
Now, I am officially a college graduate living in Austin, Texas, with many dreams, goals, and passions that I hope to apply to my future career. I love learning about the world through travel, creation, photography, fashion, music, writing, food, and connecting with people.
I’m so excited to see what my journey has in store for me!
